The Embroidered Garden Cushion Series
Designed by Margaret Edwards and Jill Gray
Five spectacular flower designs are available – the Lily, the Iris, the Tulip, the Passionflower and the Clematis. Stitch one of these beautiful cushions to sit on a chair or bed or make one of each design for even more effect! They use simple stitches and are embroidered using lustrous Waterlily hand painted silk threads by Caron. These wonderful 12 ply silk threads are a delight to stitch with and their lustre and beautiful subtle shading add a very special quality to the designs.
The patterns give comprehensive instructions and full sized diagrams for the embroidery. The designs fits well on to a 40cm x 40cm cushion, and also look lovely embroidered on a tote bag or even a jacket or skirt!
